JERK CHICKEN IS SO FUCKIN' GOOD IN TORONTO. Everyone had a great time eating except for Cy (Head of Security and getting everyone drunk and yelling really loud in the van).

HUNTING FOR POUTINE IN MONTREAL. The food called POUTINE, native to Canada, is damn hard to find at two in the morning on a Sunday night. Oh but we found some... only our stomachs have captured the images of the drunken Poutine... but here is some random image of what it looks like... should tie you over 'til you make it to Canada.

Little Cubes of goodness... only in New York City can you call a service and have them deliver some fine smokey treats to your doorstep. Purple panic? or C-4? I liked the C-4

The place I was subletting in Brooklyn came with this little cat named Bandito... he's one lazy dude.. he thought that my bed was his bed. He got stoned of that purple panic.. listened to volcano and passed the fuck out.

Satan's Youth Ministers- Just played a couple shows down in BAMA... played in Florence/Muscle Shoals... home of Muscle Shoals Sound Studios...where Rolling Stones Wild Horses was written and recorded... enough said. anyways... Satan's youth ministers.. bitchin' band from that area... one of the better things i've seen in a while... I got a couple pictures of the singer...take a look for yourself

Coney Island/David Byrne/Beer!

CONEY ISLAND- another strange trip out to the island... originally planning on going to the best pizza place ever, Totonno's. bummer it was closed for renovation... tried to stay positive and settle for the Original Nathan's Hotdog.. it was good, but it's no Totonno's Pizza.. Then we made our way to the Cyclone roller coaster... had to sneak my camera on to take some horrible footage. I'll try to upload it.

DAVID BYRNE- He played in Prospect Park..really good.... I also saw him play last fall at the Ryman Auditorium back in Nashville... so far he's two for two... always succeeds to please.

PERNOI- Oh so good... friend of mine found out that this nice italian place in the lower west side was giving away free appetizer with every purchase of PERONI Beer. super legit.

HUDSON RIVER- This dude named charles took me out on the hudson river on his super awesome wooden boat. really fun, really fast, really stoned.

CAR WRECK- right by the Manhattan bridge were these two very neatly parked cars and it looks like they tried to kill eachother.

So we left our video camera in nashville during SXSW in Austin.. but we did get a few iphone pics from our buddy Jamie Davis from ARK recordings... they took us out to a dank meal at the Boiling Pot in Austin... some of the most fun you can have while eating and drinking.

Unfortunately we couldn't document our crazy times... The Highlight of the trip might have been the first day, tuesday the 17th.. We drove 11 hours from Nashville to Denton, TX.. to play HOUSE by HOUSE west... (festival of house shows) anyways.. in the Van for 11 hours about to lose our minds.. and we pull up to nice weather, friends, bitchin' house party/show and probably the most exciting Turbo Fruits show of the whole trip.. we were showered in beer and were not able to take a real shower for 48 hours... but it was all worth it.

FEB MINI TOUR

Just got back from our 2nd tour-run of the new year... It was super rad... St Louis, Chicago, Detroit.

St. Louis- we played at Deluxe.. super nice staff.. we ended up playing in front of 9 people on Valentine's Night... funny enough.... we sold the most merch that night.. i think every person that night bought something.. Thanks to the Deluxe bar tenders for letting us go well over our free 25 dollar per person bar tabs... and then pulling money out of their own pockets to help us get to chicago the next day.

Later in the St. Louis night- our boy Geoff, of The Radical Sons, hosted us at his mother's mansion... I believe this was the first night in Turbo Fruits history that we all had our own rooms and beds to sleep in while on tour. Bong + Mansion = great sleep.

CHICAGO- a bit different.. We got to play with Monotonix... rad rad rad. don't bother standing in the front of a packed room to watch them... they will make their stage-front rounds to everyone in the room. As I was making my way up through the tight pissed off at me crowd to get a closer look, the Monotonix boys were playing/struttin right past me to play in the back of the room.

Later in the Chicago Night- stayed with our good friend Dylan Andrews... Volcano, Tim and Eric's Awesome Show.. Cy got the spins. a Turbo Fruits record for two straight nights of good sleep on tour.

DETROIT- This night goes out to Craig, of Terrible Two's. He set up the best show for a monday night in out-of-town-Turbo-tour-history. All the bands were awesome.. very accommodating.. nice crowd.. 1 dollar beers... everything to make our night wonderful.

Later in the DETROIT night- Allison, of Awesome Color, hopped in the Van with us at 2am and took us to a 24hour detroit diner called DULEYS... Fuckin' Amazing... 6 coney's, two large fries, a drink and a Nutty(donut) all for 16 bucks.. these guys were great.

Yesterday was the shittiest drive we've had in a while... Detroit all the way to nashville... We almost drove into Canada on accident..again... last time TurboFruits did that, we had our souls stolen by the border patrol.. the two officers individually strip searched each band member... not going to tell why.
